We were at school when we decided it would be fun to start a band. We were all musicians playing individualy .
Band/artist history
We are a band from South East LondonThe band formed in mid 2004.
Chris Wharton, Chris Horrex and David Watts were at school when
they decided to start up a band. All the band needed was a drummer.
Chris, Chris and David went to college still practicing as often as possible.
There was talk of a music night 'The Attic' held at the school David
was going to, so they acquired a stand-in drummer and performed two
songs, the band were not sure how they would be portrayed as they has
never performed in front of a live audience before. After 'The Attic' a
drummer named Thom Baker (not Doctor Who) approached them
and said he would like to be in the band. Finally Mosaic were a complete
band and could concentrate on writing and performing songs.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We are pretty new, we do lack expierience but we feel we can pull of some great performances.
Your musical influences
We prefer bands like Radiohead, Coldplay, Snow Patrol, Athlete so we sort of go for mellow rock.
