THE MONSTROSITY IS HERE! From the game infested blocks of East Oakland emerges the most diverse group of the city since 3xKrazy & Da Luniz. This family affair started around 2007 when group members Razzi(pronounced Ros-si) and Rell(Who are blood brothers) began collaborating with their cousin Symph-Man. After various attempts at jump starting other groups separately, the 3 decided on creating a group together. The 3 began recording songs while finding the chemistry between the 3 different styles. Each member is influenced by different rappers from all coasts and styles. Each member would agree that each other are their biggest influences. Thus the creators of the MONSTARZ! Monstarz is a group of all Trades, while all members write their own material, Razzi and Symph record and mix the tracks. But their ace in the hole is Rell, who produces 90-95 percent of all tracks. And with a track list growing, he's ascended to be one of the west coast best producers. With their sharp lyrics, witty punchlines and often comical out look on day to day life, Monstarz have a feel for music beyond their years. While tone and subject may change from song to song, it's always evident that these are MC's who love their craft. Whether confrontational(MOB)or smooth professional(Let a Nigga Know),each song is vintage Monstarz, separating themselves from their peers. While the night of the living dead may have been over a decade ago, one things for certain, the Monstrosity is now!!!
