Nashville thrash metal at its finest, Monoliath has been ripping up the scene for 3 years and has gotten a local name "thrash master guitar heroes" for themselves and will continue to deliver this "old school metal" (with a new groove) locally and eventually nationally.Band/artist history
Steve and Chris founded the band and began writing material back in 1998. The pair searched through several different drummer/guitar players but was unsuccessful on finding the right musicians for the type of music they was wanting to create. In the meantime, Tommy and Jeff had been jamming together and looking to form a band of their own.
Sometime in 2001, Steve met Tommy at work and decided to get together with Jeff for a jam session. The first time they got together it was then obvious that they were the other half of Monoliath. After some intense practicing they completed eight songs and then set out to play the Nashville local scene.Have you performed in front of an audience?We play live in Nashville, TN. We like it here but there is not alot of local support. Hopefully that will be changing soon. We are in the progress of booking gigs out of town.

Marshall and Peavey amps, 2 Marshall half stacks, 2 Jackson Randy Rhoades, Jackson Kelly and ESP guitars, Digitech processing, BC Rich Warlock bass, Hartke 350 watt stack, Pearl drums, and Zildjian cymbals.

Great show at the Boro last night. Thanks to everyone who came out to support local metal!!!!!!!! Unclean did a great job and look foward to playing with them again. Monoliath will be spending the winter cutting a

Great show with Deadchain and Unclean at the Boro, Hadnt heard of Unclean before. They put on a great show, hope to be jamming with them soon again. Deadchain was awesome as usual. Thanks to Nipples, Gary, and the rest for having us out.
Had a great time last night played a party with DeadChain. Thanks to all who came out, great party, good folks. We will be together again at the Boro next Saturday. METAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Enjoyed jamming with Deadchain and Skullkin at The Boro on 7-24-04, both kicked major ass and the drummer for Skullkin really tore sh*** up. We're doing a party with Deadchain on 7-31-04 since The Runway is closing the doors.
