Money 4 Life M.F.L., Money 4 Life, was started in the summer 0f 1998 by two songwriters, Lynn Smith Jr. a.k.a. Swann and Alfredo D. Nelson Jr. a.k.a. Ahsahnte. Together they put together a diverse group of artist to form M.F.L. The philosophy behind doing this was, If one cant, the other one could. Ahshante, the man behind the music, legitimized their company (Te Style Records) in 1999. Since then, there have been a slew of underground albums released by M.F.L. Mainly recognized for their showmanship at The Spot Open Mics; M.F.L. has respectively started a buzz in the local rap community. With the Sony Urban Music Showcase under their belt, the group plans to push their music and tour in the near future. The Consists of 7 artists: Ahsahnte Da King, Snap, Rob, Lil Lando, Da Ol Boy. This groups versatility gives them the opportunity to venture into different markets. Be on the lookout for their sophmore CD, DC al Coda which should be in a store near you September 2008.
