Bio:
MISSING MAN can be described as a contemporary rock band, with strong guitar riffs, tight rhythms and intense emotional elements. When asked (as bands ALWAYS are), the band usually says "Just imagine the contemporary edge of Incubus, Nickelback and Tool, with the classic feel of Pearl Jam and Live". "We're a rock band, plain and simple".
The music could fall under the broad spectrum of "Modern Alternative", but labels are irrelevant to the music. MM prefers to play whatever it feels, without labels or titles. Some songs are heavy, some are slower. No matter what, each song is a life of it's own, and the SHOW....well...therein lies the truth.
Hard work. That was Looks Like Me's motto. LLM was a regionally successful rock group from Colorado. And hard work was a daily effort. Play anywhere that would have you, play every show like it was your last, and do your best. For almost 6 years, they did. Well, after 4 albums, several tours (including some stints with the Warped Tour, Green Day, Our Lady Peace, Papa Roach, Candlebox, MXPX; etc.) and a few lineup changes... they could have "folded the tent" and called it a career....
But not these guys.... it was time for a fresh, new start - and out of that energy came MISSING MAN.
Original members Lance May and Paul Oldfield enlisted the help of bass progeny Cory Davis (whom they stole from another band), and formed a new band altogether. New name, new songs, new respect for what they love to do.....
MISSING MAN is a band driven by the desire to make good rock music, and have great concerts.
MM is not trying to "re-invent the wheel", or latch on to what's currently hip on the whole "cheesy-pop-wanna-be-on-TRL-circuit".
MM writes what comes out.... true to form. Like it or not..... YOU decide. E-mail them!, Leave them a comment. Tell a friend.

Of course we play live! That’s what a rock band is all about. You can't always tell how good a band is by a recording... live shows are the real test.
Canadian, Australian and American Rock Bands such as: Breaking Benjamin, Nickelback, Our Lady Peace, Silverchair, Seether, Chevelle, doubleDrive, 3 Days Grace, Tool, Metallica, Incubus ; etc...
Too much to list!! Lance has more guitars and amps than a small guitar shop... It’s a sickness.
