Essindi, is an actor, dancer, storyteller and musician. Minomoh is the continuation of Abakuya Music Project. - Essindi was born in Cameroon. Due to his ability of playing the percussions, he became very quickly famous in his own country. His playing attracted attention thanks to the energy he mixes with the delicate phrasing of his touch. Thus, he became the recourse that cannot be ignored for the new wave of local artists and singers in Cameroon, who wished to reuse the Tam-tam call, the Mvet, the Snail shell. That had been banned from the popular Cameroonian music. - Essindi demonstrated soon in France the artistic gifts he had already proved in his native country. Brought up listening to old music and culture , today in Paris he refines the art of Traditional Harp from central Africa, the Ngomo in Cameroon as well as his playing the Mvet, another endangered string instrument, as well as Ngomo or Ngombi . - The musical project Abakuya was born with the meeting of two musicians, Jimi Sofo (Australia) and François Essindi (Cameroon), and toock place in 2006 thanks to an exchange travel organized by the Akiba Association in Cameroon
