MindRaper

MindRaper is a strictly electronical project, producing industrial, goa, trip-hop & dark electro tracks. At some times there are some influences of d'n'b, schranz & noise. In a few tracks psywORm, the mastermind of MindRaper, uses samples from horror or psychadelic movies to create a dark and scary atmosphere in his tracks.

All synths, drums, noises and the sampling was made by psywORm, all programing, mixing, recording and mastering too.

MindRaper was started as a side-project, well, I think 2 years ago. At this time it's name was Razorblade and the music I made was a mix of Industrial, Goa and Noise.

No, I've never played live and at the moment I've no time and not enough equipment to play live. But maybe this will change in the future. Who could know...?

They are different but all of them are electronic. I like the industrial of Front Line Assembly, Velvet Acid Christ and Mentallo & the Fixer, but I also like GOA from Goa Head and Infected Mushroom the same way like the Dark Electro of Gridlock, the Sound of Chris Liebing, the Synth-Pop of Wolfsheim or the Drum'n'Bass of Aphrodite and the Giana Brothers.

Most important is my 1,4 GHz PC with 512 MBRam. I make my tracks with Fruity Loops 5.01 and some VST(i) plug-ins. I do all mixing and mastering in my PC. Second important are my ESI neAR Studio Monitors. To program the pads and the sequences/leads/basslines I sometimes use my MIDI-Keyboard.
