Band/artist history
It started as Ben and Gabe writing stuff together. Then Daniel joined on bass. Tim then joined as everyone realized how nice trumpet sounded on some of the songs. After some deliberation, Luke was forcefully seperated from his other band and made the drummer, and mbs was complete.Have you performed in front of an audience? We do play live. This upcoming year we will be playing many local shows, most likely with The Craters, another new and excellent band.
Your musical influences
We all enjoy Ben Folds (solo and 5), Radiohead, Wilco, The Shins, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and bands like that, but Luke kind of doesn't and is influenced by bands like 311 and Weezer. What equipment do you use?

You guys (Mind Body Soda members) must not come on the message board very often. Because my question, "Who is Wilco?" still isn't answered. By the way. I was playing guitar in my room, and I found a way to save Free Time from its pitfall of lame dynamics and repition! Yahoo Mountain Dew! I heard Daniel was back. Hooray! Anyone want to hang out. Is this the proper use of the Message Board? Okay, so call me sometime, anytime, maybe i'll call you. How's Luke doing? Good. Tim, how is bass playing coming along? Good good? Cool. Talk to you later.
Later days folks,
Gabe R.
SP: I've been thinking about learning the accordian. What do you guys think?
by the way.
who is Wilco?
Luke...
hey dudes,
people should work on songs while we are away. We can work on the ones we already have, like figure out a little funky something for your instrument in a certain song. Work on lyrics. And write new songs. Then once we reconvene we can have days and days of song polishing and writing. I've got the funky acoustic one I've been working on. I have a bridge, and a chorus now. So anyways. So you guys when I get back from VA. Ben, sorry I haven't called about VT. I don't think I can go, becuz I get back from VA on saturday night now.
Later days folks.
btw gabe, thank you so much for the guitar picks!
Alrite Gabe, well have fun in VA and come back soon.
I think we can wait for you to be back for our Guitar Center excursion, especially for some "wicked discounts on our puchases"
Luke, I guess you're leaving soon also.
What can I saw buddy, I'm gona miss you. I'll have to go with gabe on this one, there really aren't any words to say really.
As for the rest of you (ben, daniel) we'll keep in touch I'm sure (especially b/c I cant listen to the songs on soundclick here quite yet...).
