Band/artist history
1969-1972 Toured Eastern United States with a band called Rich Mountain Tower backed by Ovation Records/William Morris Agency.
1974-1980 Toured Italy, England, Scandinavia, France with my own band and then signed by Atlantic Records with Hall of Famer Jeremy Spencer of Fleetwood Mac. My composition "Cool Breeze" Number 21 Billboard Adult Contemporary.
1985-present--own and operate studio in Chiba Japan 30 miles south of Tokyo.Have you performed in front of an audience?I have toured a large part of Europe and United States in earlier years, but now I do about 12 large events a year as a band. Mostly studio work now.
Your musical influences
born in Tennessee-into soul/funk/blues/R+B. Started out as a singer but moved into carrying a B3/Rhodes/Wurlitzer all around the world. Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Jeff Lorber, Jimmy Smith, Richard Groove Holmes and numerous blues/rock/pop keyboard players and producers.What equipment do you use?
