Welcome to the official music site of R&B/Neo Soul songwriter Micah J. Goodner!
I'm a writer at heart. I have 2 published novels to my name (just google Nargasaan Prophecy or M J Goodner) and I've written articles and web copy for a host of other sites. I've worked as a grant administrator for the Speculative Literature Foundation (http://www.speclit.org) and I've written several screenplays. I'm also a volunteer minister and have written and delivered dozens of bible talks during the past 2 years.
That being said, this site is designed to promote my first creative love - songwriting and singing.
My stylings have been compared to artists like Ne-yo, Carl Thomas, Anthony Hamilton, Brian McKnight, Donnell Jones, J. Holiday, and even Aloe Blacc. I'm eclectic to say the least.
I'm currently seeking representation, publishing, distribution, and/or management for songwriting. I'm also like many other independent songwriters out there... looking for a publishing deal to sell a few songs to R&B or Neo Soul artists with record deals. I'm not looking for fame and fortune. More than anything, I'm having a blast creating music and want to share my music with the world.

I've been writing songs and making music since 1993. I'm working with a few good producers with years of experience and I aim for a polished professional sound.

Currently not performing live. Have performed in the past at places such as Lattitudes and The Know Theater in Cincinnati.
