Mike Mills plays piano when he's not working in the D.C. news biz, hanging with his wife and two daughters or walking his dog. Lately he's been enjoying recording his girls' piano, violin and cello, as well as collaborating with bassist Andrew Stone in the Britpop realm. He's not the Mike Mills from REM, though he does play bass occasionally and sat a few rows in front of him at the Smile concert in DC.

I attended Western Michigan University under a voice scholarship. Currently, I serve as Music Director at our church here in Midland and also give private voice lessons.
