My passion is sound/music. I want to play in the sandbox of sound for as long as forever is. Rhythm, sonorities, found concrete noise, melody, atonal squonk...whatever...it's all grist for the mill for me. My music can verge on certain genres but -in the end-run- it is proudly genre-free. SImilarly, I'm a voracious listener whose interests span any/all musics and creative forms of sound-manipulation.
I've been furiously composing pieces over the past two years that I haven't posted anywhere - pending the "gala opening" of my new webpage (www.hislefthand.com). As of 2/23/07, the page is live and there is a ton of new music. I haven't quite figured out how to integrate these two sites yet...If you wanna hear my new music...head on over there...there's a free stream player (and downloads).

I've really kinda let my presence on Sound Click lapse...haven't been around in quite a while. Primarily, I've spent the past two years creating -and then hording- loads of new work and creating a web page at www.hislefthand.com - this just went live two days ago with a ton of new music, free streaming (and downloads). In the meantime, ProSounds asked me to do a demo for its Adder presets - Adder is an additive synth by ConcreteFX. I leapt at the chance and have posted the result in the electronic/experimental section. I'm very please with it...it's kind of a transection of 3000 years of musical tradition...sliced, diced and pureed into 3 minutes and 10 seconds. Soundclick seems more vibrant than when I was last here.Maybe I'll stick around for a bit. I've been listening to some excellent stuff by 2nd Mouse and Waverider here...Two good reasons to hang out for sure. Hope you enjoy listening to the music of His Left Hand.
