I was in the same position as you a few years ago, and I was primarily a sample based producer. I also saved and purchased an mpc..Though it was a good tool, I noticed I could pretty much make anything i did on the mpc the exact same way using Reason/FL Studio...If I was you, i would get an mpd24 or another midi controller to use along with reason or FL, and perhaps upgrade your computer and use your computer as your main production...Think about it,,The mpc is basicly just a computer in a box..All it does is "play" te samples you provide just like FL and Reason..There are programs to use within FL and reason that let you flip and chop samples just like you can do in the mpc, not to mention the mpc have only a few effects you can add to your music..Reason and FL let you add as many as your CPU can handle..
Remember,,though the mpc has been a widely used tool in the past, and its "cool" to have in your studio, you already sound good with FL..Get a midi keyboard and rock that
