Does anything ever change?
May 30, 2013
Yup! it does. Gradually, sometimes unnoticeable, at times in shocking suddenness. But changes it does. What's that got to do with anything? I dunno. Just feeling like ranting. But when reading the latest of my blogs here I realize i've been gone too long. I am back in the seat as far as music goes. Hitting the online stores June 1st with a new single Open sky. It may not actually be out on time as iTunes has their review process and all that. But I did it. Open sky is first, come be Zombie is second on the list. You can hear them both here (Once I manage to upload them. If they are not here, then I'm working on it. I distribute my muisic via Tunecore. Check them here: http://mbsy.co/dNpW It's easy, affordable, and you keep all of the proceeds. A low annual fee is all they want. Again: http://mbsy.co/dNpW If you sign up and pay for something, I get a bonus. So just do it. I joined this here: http://audioboo.fm/studiochaotic As a replacement for the podcast I got tired of maintaining. Audioboo is great. Latest tweet as of May 30: Impressive. It just took me a year to write my about page. . All you didn't want to know about jennyK is here: http://jennykbrennan.com/about-j-k/

I'll never be happy with any song ever again. That is the drawback of learning too much. I'm only half kidding. But podcasting is fun. http://jennykbrennan.com has all episodes of Studio Chaotic the podcast. Feedburner makes it easy to subscribe although I don't know what use it has other than that. http://feeds.feedburner.com/StudioChaotic As far as iTunes go, yes! Google iTunes Studio Chaotic and you will be right there. Please leave a comment, let me know what you think. Give me a rating, no matter what it may be. New songs? Um. Suppose so. with time. I'm just about to upgrade to Windows 7 so once again things are delayed. The revamping of my studio is also on video. Video podcasts are cool don't you think? In particular if they are shot by a blind lady. Let's just say I'm no video guru, nor am I capable of not caring how it looks. Not a good combination but the phrase "just do it!" is good for more than just overprized footwear.
I'm doing it again; learning something.

I've been thinking about this for a long time. Why am I never happy with my tracks? Why do they sound so off? So not pro? Well, it's simple. I need to learn how to mix my stuff right. Mix and master. I've shyed away from much of that technical stuff, partly because the limitations I have with software is sometimes so damn discouraging, partly because I've figured I'm simply not good enough. Well, fuck that. I just signed up for a mixing course on mixlessons.com. Check this out: http://www.mixlessons.com/dap/a/?a=105 And if you decide, as I did, to dig in and learn , use this link; I'll get a chunk of whatever you spend if you go via any of my links, so don't forget. I just signed up today, did a quick peek on the website, and I know what's coming. Work. Practice. Training to listen. and I know I'll benefit from this and even without even starting the course itself, my mixes have changed drastically. And here's that link again: http://www.mixlessons.com/dap/a/?a=105 I've found motivation now, and the days of lazy plugins are over. I've never paid for an online course in my life, so that should tell you how much I believe in this. The teacher is Dezz Asante, the website is mixlessons.com among others, the podcast that really grabbed me is called Techmuze. Check it! And wish me luck. Twenty-four weeks to a new JennyK, and new music. ..
?What the hell?

JennyK - back in the form of Studio Chaotic. Music? Of sorts yes. Teamed up with Sie Electric Hughes for some extra layering on my podcast. The imp. Ranting. There are new songs in the making. But I'm not in any hurry. Here's a free e-book for all of you good people. A Gal Eerie of Desire - pick your price, on Smashwords. If anyone feels like giving a raiting or even a review; you have no idea how appreciated that would be. The only thing worse than getting a bad opinion on a creation is to get none. The novelette is published "blind" if you will. "It is fresh, unique, and sexy." http://www.smashwords.com/books/view/154151

Hi Jenny, lol, I can relate. I get involved with all the Christmas stuff to keep everyone happy, but to tell the truth I'm always relieved when it's all over! I'm blown away by your latest song "Tonight" - I really love your change of direction, it sounds very professional - top notch work! You've really nailed it there! Give me a shout when you upload some more. Have a good weekend, take care,
Rodz
Jenny -- hey there, it's been way too long. How've you been? I'm listening to the two tracks you currently have up. Your voice sounds as better than ever! "Open sky - Damaged goods" is a great song, and, well, who doesn't like zombies? I've put up probably two (maybe three?) tunes up here since we last talked; hope you can give a listen when you have moment or two. I hope that things are going well for you these days, and I wish you and yours all the best! Take care Spence (AzSaxCat / CodeAquamarine)
