I am a soundtrack artist.
My main instrument is the piano, and I can't remember when I started playing it.
My mother has a story of when she tried to learn piano about a year or two after she had me, that I would hear hear play and then I would stop what I was doing and go and play with her (which ended up with me just banging my hands on the keyboard).
I guess I kept it up ever since then, refining my skills.
I then received my first keyboard when I was in 7th grade. It was an Ensoniq SQ1+ and it allowed me to record and overlay other instruments for the first time in my life. This opened the door to my music composition.
Most of my music I write, I figure out by playing at the moment. However, there are a very select few that I wrote because I heard them in a dream. You will know those few by their title, as it will be obvious.
