It's another YouTube video. Yay. I don't know, I think I've got some panda-eye going on in the video. Unfortunately, that's what finals week does to a person. Anyways, I wrote Katharine McPhee's name as "Katharine McPhee" and then I thought I spelled it wrong so I changed it to "Katherine McPhee," only to realize I had it right the first time. I don't think that's like a big deal, just thought I'd mention.

Hey hey everybody! So, I'm back with a new song. This one's called "That Ain't U" and the beat was produced by Audio Starz Entertainment. But yeah, so I heard the instrumental and I was kind of inspired to write sort of like a Ne-Yo-ish song, like "Hate That I Love You," and I'm actually really excited 'cause I definitely think it's a lot different than anything I've written before, like a lot more American mainstream. Do you ever feel like you've lost the ability to feel? Maybe not so melodramatic, but I mean, do you ever feel like you've put yourself out there so many times but you haven't really gotten much in return? Sometimes I feel like that, and more specifically, that's what my new song, "Heartbreaking Affair" is about. I started writing it a couple of years back to this beat by Ansane Productions but only just really recently felt like finishing it. Basically, it's about how you've kind of put yourself out there as a person and you get burned so many times, but it's not like you mind that much--it's just that you want to feel something painful and raw to know you're still capable of having real feelings. Yeah.

So, my winter break is ending and my first day of classes start tomorrow. =( So I thought I'd make a new YouTube video, and Carrie Underwood's "Cowboy Casanova" has been stuck in my head for weeks. I thought I'd just do a quick cover of it with an instrumental from Acoustic Guitar Karaoke. The first minute or so is also my rant on how the Tyra Show is ending. Ahhhhh.
