As most little girls with hopes and dreams Lindsey started singing around the house at an early age. As a child she would use a hair bush for a microphone, the fire place hearth as a stage and pretend of performing a concert before thousands of her fans. Little did she know that would be her career goal. It was a third grade school talent show that sparked the fire in her to be an entertainer. Singing Faith Hill's,"It Matters To Me", she took 1st place and from that point on she knew what she wanted to do in life. With music always in the center of her life, she has matured into a beautiful young lady with a strong, powerful voice that's far ahead her age.
At the age of 13 she recorded her first demo CD with the help of hit songwriter, Dennis Adkins (who wrote "Ace In The Hole" for George Strait). With the help of Dennis and song-pitcher, Matt Lindsey, they were able to get her demo heard by RCA Records and to Randy Goodman at Lyric Street Records. Although, neither Label was signing young female talent, they responded very favorably to her honest sound and sweet tone and wanted to hear more as she matured. Her demo also landed her, her first TV debut on the "Ralph Emery Show" where she performed two of her songs, live, on the morning show, and was interviewed by Charlie Chase and Loriann Crook. A memorable event she'll never forget.
Soon after, Lindsey felt she needed to take something great and make it better. She contacted, Kim Wood Sandusky, a well-known and highly respected vocal coach, who did just that. Kim took Lindsey under her wing and helped her develop a voice that is strong, full, and honest, all ceases when one is ensnared by the pure heart and soul of singer Lindsey Lea. Fully loaded with tone, pitch, and energy, her voice immediately captures the hearts of the audience and leaves them wanting more. For anyone who has ever heard her sing, she forces all heads to stop, look, and listen. Lindsey is bound to captivate and inspire everyone that hears her.
Lindsey has worked hard, setting her sights and grooming herself to be a successful music artist. She has performed many talent shows, country music theaters, fundraisers, and special events. When she was 16, she auditioned for Libby Knight, who owned a country music theater, called "Live at Libby's" in Daysville, KY. "Libby's" had a reputation as one who helped today's superstars get their start, such as; JoDee Messina, Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood, Tracy Lawrence and the list go on. Lindsey quickly won the heart of Libby, he recognized her vast talent and immediately put her on the show, where she performed every Saturday night until his death in October 2004. Libby told everyone Lindsey Lea would be the next one to leave his nest, to go on to be a superstar.
Lindsey is also called upon frequently to perform her beautiful version of "The National Anthem" so impressive, that she was ask to sing at the Kentucky State Capital for the opening sessions in Frankfort, KY. for the State House & Senate. Lindsey is thankful to God for the beautiful gift that has been given her. She loves to sing more than anything, after each song she sings you can tell she's a natural and was born to sing and entertain. She is a growing young artist and has matured with her own vocal style, range, and stage presentation. Her presence and performance are that of a seasoned young lady who knows what she wants.
Hit songwriters/producers Ron Harbin and Philip Douglas, has helped Lindsey produced a four song demo, which caught the ear of Mark Alan Springer. Currently, Lindsey is working with Mark and his staff at Masville Music, looking for songs for a CD she would like to have completed next year, with hopes that she can draw attention from Nashville's Record Executives.
Lindsey has built a strong growing fan base and positive recognition from some of industries top songwriters & producers. She is thankful to all that as helped this far. Especial

From time to time I check in on my friends, see what they're up to. I ended up listening for a while, Lindsey.
Magic and What Are We Waiting For are superbly written. I particularly love the vocal's cadence and overall vibe in Single Handed, though!
You write well, and singe even better. Enjoy what you're doing, L! Happy Holidays and all the best to you and yours!
Keep it up!
