I've been playing seriously since I was about 21. Growing up, I've always been the "lead singer". But as my guitar playing progressed, I never wanted to just sing. I had to at least play rhythm. That suits me just fine since I never found time to really learn theory. So with that, I'm not a lead guitar player at all. I'm a singer first, rhythm player second, and I love writing songs. I've been in and out of bands since I was 18, usually as the lead singer. I've had extensive time as a bass player in an original band, and currently I'm the co-lead singer/rhythm player in a local cover band Punch Judy. We play A LOT, and my playing has come a LONG way even in three years. I'm a late bloomer when It comes to songwriting and playing. The majority of songs I've written were done between 1996 and 2001, and really.. there aren't a lot of them. About the time I really started to hit my stride, we started having children. Then life takes over! So I really haven't been productive at all in the last 5 years. And that's ok with me really. It'll come. So most if not all the stuff you hear from me here, will be old and raw. Once my youngest gets older, I'll be rockin' it up again.
