Born in '84, female Rap Artist Erica Charles from Boston, has been creating music since the age of three. As a child she participated in many arts activities due to her family's love for music and art as well. Erica grew up listening to the grown folks music like Marvin Gaye, Issac Hayes, Geralderd Levert, Stevie Wonder, Diana Ross, Pattie Labelle the list goes on. That was not the onlytype of music she learned to because she had older cousins who grew up in the Hip Hop and Rap Era when Dre and Eazy E dominated the scene along with others such as Public Enemy, Wu Tang, Digital Underground and 2 Pac.
She has always performed in talent shows, special events and church concerts giving her a variety of listeners. Also, during her early and teen years she learned to play different instruments like the violin, clarinet, drums, recorder and piano and keyboard. Not to mention she was always in chorus and she danced ballet and jazz tap.
Erica is now growing her own Independent Record Label along with a few new artists, partners and friends.
