My name is JohnRussell Allen, though most folks just call me Ole Man Allen. Im in my 60s, play a little guitar, and have spent a good part of my life writing songsover 50 of them through the years. I dont sing, I cant read music, and Ive never been formally trained. Everything I know, I learned by ear. I write only about what Ive lived or seen with my own eyesreal life, no made-up stories, just truth put to verse. Im not chasing fame or fortune. I live a simple life and like it that way.
