MASTIFF was formed in 1987 by founding members: David Brian Rios on drums & John ‘Johnny Blade’ Webster on guitar in Chatsworth Ca. Dan Simcox aka ‘DB Simmz’ was added as 2nd guitarist later that year. MASTIFF can still be heard via the internet as more archived recordings are still unveiling themselves. The total catalog consists of roughly 8 singles. The Band tried auditioning a few different bass players but knowone ever seemed to click. MASTIFF did alot of rehearsing and recording in that period. David Rios went on to perform record and rehearse with other musicians in and around SFV area . John and Dan went on to record and play with other musicians aswell.
