KASTROPODUX is devoted to the synthwave-sound of the 80s and the techno-style of the early 90s, sometimes combined with rock-guitars.

After successfully participating in a PXD Musicsoft competition, I gained my first experiences with composing and arranging electronic music in the late 90s. But then I concentrated on playing the bass in various bands from different musical genres. At the same time, I started my electronic-metal-solo-project BLUTWURST BREATH (2000 - 2010), which was featured on numerous samplers. In 2011 it was succeeded by the new, more focused electronic-grindcore-project TUNNELBOHRER, which is still active today. In autumn 2021, my bands, in which I had been working as a bassist since 2006, unfortunately broke up. This was the occasion to revive my old passion for electronic music: KASTROPODUX was born.
