So Winter Sleeps went quiet for another 6 months again. However, the EP is almost ready. Just need to get Mike to record vocals and then we will have a single. Jesus, this album is never gonna come out, is it? So basically, the 8-song album is now a 5-song EP + intro track. Instrumental mixes are about 80% done, then moving on to vocals. Not much of an update here besides the tracklist being halved, but in the meantime, here's a preview of a song from the EP. [media]

So basically, in the last six months, a lot has changed. First off, my side project, Indieplay, broke up. Secondly, Mr. Nipple has ended. On the bright side, this leaves me able to do the Sleeps record full time! Due to the breakup of Indieplay, Michael has returned to WS. Right now, the album is shaping up to be an eight song album, with a long song at the end. The aim is a Q4 2019/Q1 2020 release for the album right now. Toodles! Lukas

So I've been helplessly addicted to the new Periphery album. It's absolutely fantastic, and if you haven't listened to it yet, you're missing out. Anyways, as far as Winter Sleeps goes, there has been a bit happening behind the scenes. First off, our vocalist and friend Michael has switched to my other project, Indieplay (more on that later). This means that we are now in the process of looking for a vocalist. We are looking for someone who can write and record, and hopefully play live. If you are interested (and preferably in the southwest Iowa area), please write something over the track Alive on my page and send it to me. [media] Now, as far as the album goes, it will probably be split into two EPs. I am not sure. As of yet, we are still writing and recording, the same way that we always are.

Hey y'all. I've been asked about my band, Winter Sleeps, and namely when we will release anything. For those who don't know, Winter Sleeps is my band that I formed in late 2016 with my friend and drummer Tanner. I can finally give an update on what is going on with the album. Currently, there are eight songs, however one of these songs is about fifteen minutes long! Instrumentals are mostly recorded and our vocalist Michael and I are working on lyrics for these songs. I am extremely proud of this music.
