I'am a widow my husband of 40 years went to be with the LORD on June 10th ,2018. Darrel and I were both saved with the help of people of Prairieland Baptist Church telling us what we needed to know and do to to get saved. I accepted the LORD in 1984 and a couple of years later Darrel accepted the LORD. When we started going to church full time a friend of ours was driving the church van and asked if Darrel would help out of course he said yes and shortly after that the Pastor talked him into getting a CDL and the church bought a bus that was parked in our driveway and my husband became the new bus driver. I was asked to help out in the nursery and the next thing I knew I was taking care of assigning people and being in it the next 10 years plus teaching Sunday School, and helping out with Bible School over the years. We cleaned the church at Prairieland when it was our turn and whatever else was needed. We both went knocking doors to tell people about the Lord and pass out tracts with the Plan of Salvation on them. I helped my husband do many things over the years with Nursing Home Bible Studies, Bus Ministry and cleaning churches. I helped in different things as our children were growing up as was a room mother at school, I helped my husband with Cub Scouts and as the boys got older I did things with them in Boy Scouts with another Leader. We were in other churches over the years and I worked with the children in each of them, the church we attended in Parkville, Mo. was just starting out , when we started it was jjust a few months old we worked along side of our Pastor and his wife to establish and get it going, that Pastor and his wife has moved on as have I, and a younger man and his family are there now and the church is still working to see souls saved, leading men,women and children to the knowledge of God that they will make the right dcecesison and follow Jesus. I continue to work with children at church on Sunday Evening, we do .
