Animal Garden Music is an ever expanding and contracting improvisational band, a collective of musicians and artists of diverse backgrounds who come together to play whatever the creative muse inspires in the moment, every improvisation a leap into the unknown.
The project germinated in the minds of Emilio Loza and George Orozco – a couple of life-long friends who met in 1982 who shared a mutual love for 70’s and 80’s New Wave, Punk and Progressive rock music.
Over the years, their collaboration on multiple projects evolved into a kind of living musical laboratory, and, with the help of other musically-gifted friends, an experimental, progressive, funk-infused art-rock improv band was born.
Today, the music continues to grow as new friends and influences join in the mix of what can be described as a beautiful cacophony of musical morphing mayhem.
