Born and raised in the harsh streets of Baltimore, Maryland; rapper turned producer Kashon quickly adapted to the reality of his surroundings. As a young man he set goals to elevate himself throughout his life. A lot of people always told him how great of a person he is and that his music has helped many of them realize who they are and pursue their dreams. I would have never imagined people recognizing my hard work and mission. I am my own brand and I currently own my own business. I remember thinking I wouldn't make it to see 21 years of age, I came from dealing drugs, playing with guns, and smoking weed every day" says Kashon. Today you can find the artist working long nights in the studio and promoting his engineering skills by day, he doesn't smoke weed anymore but he still loves the smell. It's been over 7 years since he moved drugs or been around any at all. "When I was younger you couldn't tell me or show me anything. I was lost in my own world running around getting high, but I've learned in life that wasn't the best option and when I found my purpose it was music" says Kashon.
