BIO
Tino McIntosh (pka) DJ TAZ started producing music at the age of 10 and he
began Djing at the age of 14. DJ TAZ became a nationally known producer, artist
and rapper at the age of 23, when produced a top 20 hit on the Billboard Hot Rap
Singles Chart. DJ TAZ is and has been recognized as one of Atlanta’s hottest DJ’s,
producers, and artist for more than 24 years with an ever increasing fan base that
includes both young and old school music lovers.
DJ TAZ has been signed by EMI Records and Priority Records and he is presently
under contract with Universal Music Group.
DJ TAZ’s hottest single thus far is “That’s Right” (featuring Ms. Neeka & Raheem
The Dream), this single reached No. 8 on the Billboard Hot Rap Singles Chart
(1997).
DJ TAZ commercially released debut album "Worldwide" reached No. 38 on the
Billboard charts (1997)
DJ TAZ was also featured on the hit single "Girls" by DJ Smurf (aka Mr.
Collipark) alongside DJ Kizzy Rock and June Dog. This single reached No. 14 on
the Billboard Hot Rap Singles chart (1998)
DJ TAZ produced tracks for Kilo Ali entitled Nasty Dancer, which reached No. 17
on the Billboard Hot Rap Singles chart
DJ TAZ also produced "Dunkey Kong", which reached No. 34 on the Billboard
Hot Rap Singles chart
DJ TAZ is the producer behind the Atlanta greats such as Kilo Ali and Raheem the
Dream. DJ TAZ is also a house DJ for several clubs in the Atlanta area and he is a
stage DJ for several old school rap artist. DJ TAZ has never stopped developing his
musical talents and helping other artist develop their talents as well. DJ TAZ has
helped in the development of young producers in the game like Shawty Red of Beat
Bangers, who produced Billboard Chart Hits for Snoop Doog and Young Jeezy.
