Larme has grown up playing guitar from a young age, because while seeing and hearing his dad play his banjo and guitar, switched on a light inside of him and his love for music was born and he began to develop from there. Having 4 singing sisters and Banjo playing dad, music was a major influence in the home growing up.
He has always enjoyed playing along with his dad at home. When his father would practice, Courtney would have his plastic guitar that his dad bought him and from there he started to watch people playing, began school music lessons and eventually took everything and built a style of his own, along the way learning to play the Bass Guitar, Keyboards and Drum. Gaining experience whilst playing in Church led to Courtney playing in session forums and progressing to working in the studio applying his skills to production and writing.
He has been a musician for the best part of his life, gaining respect as a guitarist and building a good reputation playing guitar on the gospel circuit. Courtney has played on many projects and live performances.
He has been privileged to work with a lot of musicians, soloists and choirs over the years.
As a writer and producer Courtney is always keen to support young talent and features them on his tracks to help them develop and grow.
