Samuel Lee Thompson Jr, also know as S?M, is a music producer that resides in Strongsville, Ohio. Born in Decatur, Georgia, S?M was a trained pianist at the age of 5 and later would pick up the trombone when he was 12. Playing in various bands and perfecting his instrument craft, Samuel would soon shift his focus from traditional instruments to laptops and midi controllers. Being familiar with the way music is composed, he soon realized his abilities as an artist would come naturally to producer electronic music, ranging from Hip-Hop/Rap, R&B, IDM, and House.
Samuel's has influence ranging from Roy Ayers, Pharrell, Machinedrum, Flying Lotus, Unknown Mortal Orchestra and Metro Boomin; with these influences, his sound can be described as abstract but a pure simplicity and remedy for the ears. Representing his OX Clan Collective movement, S?M works to expand his talents to put himself on the map and establish himself as an international brand. Along with music production, Samuel is a advent painter, model and skateboarder
There is much to learn about the young artist as he makes his mark in the modern world of art and business alike. This is only the beginning of his movement; expect to witness the birth of organic surrealism that will take this world by storm!
