Omar Harris was born in Alexandria, Virginia. From a young age Omar’s love for music and sound was obvious; from playing saxophone and cello in elementary school, to his mother giving him his first bass guitar to play in the church band. In those environments, Omar was exposed to all different types of music, and his appreciation continued to grow. After being accepted by his mentor, Chris Johnston, into a music production academy in high school, Omar met Rob and Danny “DNOC” Sanchez, as well as Brandon “Big Body Benz” Martin. They all shared their talent, love and passion for making music, and the four continued to hone their individual talents while still staying close friends, co-producers, and evolving as artists. Later artist/producer/songwriter Jaris “Jay Beato” Garabito and Omar formed the production team Take Off Music Group. Omar was later joined by producers Danny “DNOC” Sanchez and Jonathan “Jay Rock” Rutherford, who are co-owners and contributing members to this day. Within the group, Omar is able to produce a variety of different instrumentals, build record concepts, and involved with post-production engineering. Omar has been providing the Northern Virginia’s independent artist community with this host of production services for over ten years, and God willing, has no plans of stopping..
