Proving Grounds was founded by Luke Cayzer and Wynand Van Zyl (formerly of Blame the Architects) in January 2016, and was joined by Gareth Reed (Riddlebreak) shortly afterwards.

Warren Richards - Rhythm/Lead Guitar
Proving Grounds is very much rooted in the progressive/djent metal genre, however we blend this melody/rhythm with soundscapes, visual artistry, and flowing harmonies. We are taking a completely different direction to what most listeners are used to, and we hope you will share every moment with us on this amazing journey we are going to undertake.
