Undefined is a 17-year old emcee based primarily out of South Lake Tahoe, California.
Born Chaz Ross at St. Joseph’s Hospital In Stockton, California September 28th, 1998. The second youngest of four siblings from the same mother and three different fathers. He has two older sisters, Samantha and Christyna, and a younger brother, Corey. Undefined bounced back and forth between Stockton and Tahoe for most of his childhood. He also lived in a small suburb outside of Sacramento when he was in fifth grade due to foster placements. His parents split when he was four, the first time he and his two sisters went to foster care. Chaz was placed in a different home than his sisters for two and a half years. After that time custody was given to their mother where they lived for three years before they were placed back in foster care because of child abuse. That’s when Chaz and his sister Christyna were sent to El Dorado Hills and their other siblings were placed in a home in Cameron Park. His interest for music began early. His first musical interest was rock and roll because both of his parents listened to it. He always loved drumming and had an interest for the electric guitar. He listened to artists such as Guns n Roses, Metallica, ACDC, and Pink Floyd. When he lived with his mother she introduced him to a drummer/rapper who offered to give him lessons on both but Chaz only wanted to play the drums. Undefined also played the trombone for six years. He didn’t begin listening to Rap or Hip-Hop until about fifth grade when he found an interest in The Insane Clown Posse and Eminem. Shortly after that is when he began writing his own lyrics. In sixth grade he put out his first song with a close friend. The production quality was minimal. They recorded off a laptop with a beat they found from Youtube, but he loved it. He started slow at first, only writing a new track every few months. That was until he was discovered by DoubleVisionRecords in November of 2013. An independent label based out of South Lake Tahoe, California and Reno, Nevada. Members include Elegant Speech, Sandy Moniz, and Tru. They immediately began his debut album, “Rookie of the Year” which is being released New Years of the 2015/2016 year(s). Undefined is also a member of the rap duo, The Gooney Tunes, Which also consists of South Lake Tahoe emcee and long time childhood friend of Chaz, Teebeetrippin. The Gooney Tunes Debut mixtape “Couch Sessions” is set to release in early 2016.
