The Bards of Antiquity are a progressive rock band who perform slow, atmospheric, and unique songs infused with ambience, drone, classical, jazz, doom, and folk.
Salix Baylonica, their debut album, is an Orpheus-inspired story of the search for one's lost love in the realms beyond death. It begins minimalist and gothic, building in sound and complexity, as it progresses to a triumphant conclusion with the post-rock ballad, Elysium.
