Born & raised on Chicago’ South Side, the soulful and edgy rapper who would later be known to the city as “DatBoyeWavy”. At the age of 16 DatBoyeWavy picked up the pen, not realizing that his craft was like none other. In high school he started writing lyrics and joking around with friends in class, which lead to a series of impromptu lunch room performances. It was then he gained the reputation as a lyricist and the legend that is “DatBoyeWavy” was born.
Following his 23rd birthday, DatBoyeWavy realized that something was missing. Faced with legal struggles and dead end jobs he returned to music, bringing him back to the one place where everything made sense. In early summer of 2010 “DatBoyeWavy” wrote “We Here” first single off the mixtape “U Gon Luv Me Tomorrow”. “U Gon Luv Me Tomorrow” was release under the record label ”Ace Club Music Group”, better known as ACMG based out of Chicago in early 2013. Currently promoting “U Gon Luv Me Tomorrow”, “DatBoyeWavy” is already hard at work on the follow up, Caviar Taste on a Hot Dog Budget, a mixtape that expresses the dysfunctional life of the new profound Chicago Rapper with a comical touch.
