An art enthusiast with a peculiar knowledge of sound, that is Gray Jones. Born to the Ossai family from Southern Nigeria, Delta State to be precise, Gray Jones is a producer, vocalist, rapper and songwriter that has a unique afrocentric flavor to his sound that cuts across different genres, thus creating his blend of music which has been referred to as "Babalawo Music" by avid followers.
Gray Jones is a member of the JONES family, a brand of culture, arts & Fashion in all diverseness. Teaming up with friend and colleague, Shay Jones of JONES, the 'Jones Lifestyle' EP is out now. He is currently working on his debut solo EP Set to be released in the first quarter of this year. (2015). Gray Jones is executive producer On Eva Alordiah's debut album, she calls 1960, 'Freespirit' EP by Braham (formerly known as Hayo Niel, ex co signee and friend) and Kola Soul's Upcoming album which the title hasn't been announced yet. All set to be released the first quarter of this year.
Gray Jones debuted in the music scene in 2011 signed under PXC Records as 'Gray Jon'z' with his first single, Mi O Ran Yan, featuring Hayo Niel which he released the music video, shot and directed by Mex, early 2012. Mid 2012, another single titled 'Money' featuring Baseone, was put out. In 2013, Gray hosted a free instrumental competition he called 'Gray'd Out'. In 2014, 'Fall' his latest single was released.
