David J. Smith (aka 24thElement) the Los Angeles based multi instrumentalist producer of original beats and grooves is a Classically trained pianist, guitarist, bass player and sound engineer who crafts beats with self composed samples and all original loops. As an alumni of the Los Angeles Recording School, his pro studio experience includes tenures at such legendary recording facilities as Track records, The Enterprise Studios and Larrabee Sound. During this time he assisted on projects for artists including Snoop Doog, Warren G, Tha Dogg Pound, Dr. Dre, Heavy D, IMX, Scarface and Jermaine Jackson. 24th also writes tracks for TV with credits including 'Lockup', 'Freakshow' and 'Wahlburgers'.
Today 24thElement seeks to revolutionize production by offering the highest level of 'ready-to-air-and-licensed-clear' beats. He does this by drawing on his years of experience with old school studio production techniques, a natural ear for music theory and fast turn around time custom compositions. This ensures that his clients get the best results in the least amount of time.
