y name is Aurélie Asseo, I was born on 22/2/1988
I truly like poetry .I do think it is pure state of magic in the human soul, reviving the inner child within all of us.The inner child who is sometimes revolted, loving , bewildred and tries to escape the reasonable self of adulthood, indispensable adulthood which is nevertheless not a closed entity but a ongoing process, a timeless dawn.
I was born ,grew up ,and currently live in Geneva, Switzerland. I am physically handicaped .This due to my extreme premature birth ,at five months, which unfortunately triggered a cerebral hemorrage and the loss of my twin sister who passed away a week old only. As a result, I could not walk as a toddler nor even stand . It was said to my family at the time that I could never walk nor write. However with a lot of support and fighting spirit I finally started walking around age 8, after I had major interventions on my legs, including a crucial one I had in the US in the Newhington children's hospital, Massashussets , (now Hardford's) where we travelled twice back in 1995. I could then enter ordinary school after time spent in a institution for handicaped children .
I studied letters, English and French, in Geneva University for a year.
I work freely in Geneva Popular University where I voluntarily teach migrants , I also learn Russian , I have been studying it since 2010 and go on, I will enter aldult formation studying and auditoring in Geneva University in 2014 ( Faculty of educational sciences and psychology)
I have been writing poetry for years on various networks. I find inspiration in love, folk tales , classical music,my own life experience.I have many interests related to music and litteraure (worldwide) and brief travels with familiy (UK, Ireland , Spain...)

I have Jewish and Muslim blood as well as Christian and cultural melting pot (born and raised in Geneva as binational Swiss/French citizen with origins way back to Iran, (Isfahan) from my mother, Thessaloniki (Sefardi community , that's where the maiden name I wear comes from ) and Eastern europe (Nijni Novgorod ) from my father- and a bit of Vaud (Lausanne ^^((-:) from my maternal grandmother - my British grandpa (mother 'step dad) taught me the love of foreign and English litterature,,, and I try to see interesting ideas everywhere, although I feel humanist above all . Do I believe in God? Somehow yes. As says Regina Specktor "No one 's laughing at God in a hospital"I am kind of an Agnostic.- I also appreciate some chamanistic philosophy- nothing New Age nor commercial, But a perception and philosophy I have been using since childhood, inheritated from my dad's way of thinking, it is maybe not written
