To sum it up, I would like to quote a line from The Beatles' version of “Matchbox” sung by Ringo Starr;
“I'm an old poor boy
And I'm a long way from home
I've never been happy
'Cause everything I ever did was wrong”
Let's be honest; no one really gives a rat's about an unknown/unsigned artist's long winded BIO, so to make my bio short and sweet; I'm basically trying, to be the best Metal bassist and songwriter I can be. Can't promise great music, but I'm going to try damn hard. I don't really like the concept of “sub-genres” in the world of Heavy Metal music, but my song projects are experimental whereas; all stringed instruments are actually a bass guitar. All my music is dedicated to the real musician of the family; my little brother Roger D. Black, Jr. Also my brother JK actually coined the phrase “off the realm” which became my project name. A thank you goes out to my friends and family for their support! And I'm honored to mention these friends and mentors who guided me through the years as a bass player, songwriter and all around musician; Jeff Witherow, Art McDermott, Andy Wheeler, Todd Vandelinder and Billy Bogaczyk. Also have to thank childhood friend Donald Whitenite; for the recent support and PR help!
