Shawn Rule better known now artistically as "Gully G'Que", has always known and appreciated music being anointed with the gift of song since age 5. Gully G'Que grew up singing in the Angelic Youth Choir of the Welcome Missionary Baptist Church. After becoming of age, Gully not only sang but began directing and presiding over this choir. His passion for songwriting developed through his matriculation through prestigious performing arts schools including "Elmdale Conservatory for the Visual & Performing Arts" and "Detroit High School of the Fine & Performing Arts" where he studied Dance, Drama and Instrumental and Vocal Music. Gully graduated from Finney High School in 2007, while being dually enrolled and eventually graduated from Wayne County Community College District. Currently, Gully is pursuing his Bachelors of Arts degree with a discipline in Sociology, at the Wayne State University. Through music and vocal performance, Gully captivates the hearts of listener's and a sui generis writing style which corroborates his delivery. Gully G'Que's latest single "Late Night (Need You)" is the first single from his debut album "Determined" which drops October 18, 2014. Gully G'Que is already recording his sophomore album "UnOrthoDox" which will debut early 2015.
