The Saturday Blues Project was formed in Vallbona d'Anoia (Catalonia) in Spring 2013. We chose the "Project" part of our name because we wanted to maintain a more flexible approach to the Blues.
We are not a blues band that plays standards; all the material we record is our own material - though the influences are there to see.
The Saturday part of our name came from the fact that in the early days we only ever came together to play on a Saturday.
