Company Overview
VIZION SOUNDS RECORDS as it is now known was founded by Mr. Walter ' Wally' Fraser in London England as "Nu-Vizion Ltd" T/A Vizion Sounds Records in 1992, with an objective of producing and promoting the music of Urban Youth in London. The company's goal is to provide an outlet for youth and their talents in an effort to lead them in a positive direction. Upon re-migrating to Guyana, Walter ‘Wally‘ Fraser started Vizion Sounds Records/Promotion in 1995 based at 85 Robb Street, Georgetown as a label covering all genres of music, aiming to produce, promote and consequently highlight the diversity and depth of local musical talent.
In an effort to achieve its objectives the company made the decision to establish Guyana's first International Standard 24track Protool digital/analogue recording studio, and have recorded and promoted productions for both International artistes out of Jamaica and a variety of local Guyanese artistes.
Furthering our quest to promote local talents Vizion Sounds Records/Promotion has recently establish Vizion Sports & Entertainment Agency to nurture and promote Guyana’s young athletes on a larger platform, and give them the opportunity to showcase their talent Internationally.
Under the original Company title of Nu–Vizion, the Company released the song ‘Love inside’ with Sharon Forrester, ‘What You Won’t Do for Love’ with Nu-Vizion, ‘Made It Over’ with Sha Sha ft. Jack Ruben & The Riddla, and over the years Vizion Sounds Records has released albums from various artistes out of Guyana and Jamaica, including artistes the likes of Gregory Isaacs, Big Youth, Dennis Brown, Luciano, Jah Cure, Natural Black, Duane Stephenson, Tarrus Riley, Andrew Bees, First Born and Shelly G.
Wanting to remain as independent and self sufficient as possible, Vizion Sounds Records established Wfrazier Music Publishing to represent the Company and its artistes in the collection of due royalties via PRS/MCPS, ASCAP and PPL.
To our stable we have recently added the new talents of, artistes Michelle ‘Big Red’ King, Khyran ‘WasSent’ Khan, Errol ‘Ejaay’ James, and Celeste David to name a few.
