Manny Mac was born and raised on the east side of San Jose, a city in the San Francisco bay area of Northern california. He is a natural born musician with many talents, who has seen and experienced more then the average artist.
Manny was Placed in foster care at an early age due to his mother and fathers drug addictions and incarerations. adopted by his grandmother as a toddler, and Not having his parents as a child, Manny rebelled in his teens and started living the street life and began using and selling drugs. All alone Manny would often write poems and eventually songs of just random thoughts and feelings he was going through which led him to start recording. Manny found his passion in music and used it as an outlet to express himself and his emotions. He started writing poems, then Hip hop songs, freestyle rapping, then singing, and R&B song writing.
Manny is known by his friends as a real artist, A born musician, A vessel for music, lyrically inclined, the hook master, hardest freestyler ever and many more.
While still with the street life, Manny was stabbed 6 times and escaped death, then sent to state prison many times for selling drugs and other numerous crimes. In prison Manny focused on rehabilitation, and on pursuing his music career upon release. Manny was eventually released and changed his negative ways, he has left the life of crime for a life of music, and now wants to share his experiences, and struggles with the world.
