Still Goin' Global Andreal Mallard aka Country Fly was born in Brunswick, GA April 20, 1980. Growing up in Jesup, GA was not a major struggle in his life but believe me, it was no silver spoon either. He graduated from Wayne County High School in 1998 then moved to Atlanta, GA to attend Clark Atlanta University where he studied Mass Communication with a minor in Marketing. Shortly after college Country Fly life took a turn for the worst, he was involved in major street activity and was shot in the back and grazed in the head. He was hospitalized for nearly a year in and out and had to learn to walk all over again. In 2006, he and dj logic of Just Press Play Productions dropped their first mix tape featuring various artists on a series called “The Low Country Movement”, which showcased artist out of Southeast Georgia and surrounding areas. Recorded his first single “Do It” feat Tameka Mignon, recorded by Deep Pocket Productions. Due to legal issues in 2007, Country Fly was forced to put his music career on hold for a while, but now he is back in full force. Country Fly is the CEO of his own independent label Jackland Music Group and Coastal Empire Publishing. On Sept 12, 2011 released his first debut mix tape, G.R.I.N.D. volume one hosted by DJ Mike Fresh of E93 Radio and the HitSquadDJs featuring classic bangers like “Lemon Honey” feat King Malachi & TB, “Wooaaahh” produced by Drum MajorsATL, “#912goinglobal” feat G.A. of Flight Gang & DJ Mike Fresh, and “Pimpin’ Ain’t Dead (A Tribute 2 Pimp C)” feat TB.
