Born and raised in the Carolinas, Rasheed Iman aka Talk2em found his niche for music at a young age. The versatile Indie artist grew up on the south side of Charlotte and felt musical influence from artists such as Tupac, Andre 3000, Nas, and T.I. He released his first mix tape called R.I.M-A-Ness vol. 1 at the young age of 15 while attending Olympic High School.
As Talk2em continues to transition from a guy off the streets into not only a man, he is excited to announce the release of T.R.U.T.H. --The Real Understand The Hustle. The mix tape features “Straight Up” produced by Automatic, “Be King” produced by Mixla, and “Don’t Care” produced by Kelly Kel. The sound is familiar of 90s hip hop and is a personal album focusing on fatherhood, relationships, and becoming a man.
