Everyone calls me Vince. The place I grew up in is pretty small: An island that's only 45 square miles. I've been into music since the age of 11. I played the piano, the guitar, and the drums; played in a bunch of bands and did a few recordings. But, it wasn't until recent years that I started to slowly edge away from play instruments. The reason why I began to stop playing instruments is that each of them didn't give me a sound full enough that satisfied me. I came across a video online of people recording themselves, looping them back, and playing over them to create a big and full sound. I then got very enticed to do this, despite having a deep hatred of electronic music. My perspective of music was very biased because I was influenced by rock 'n roll. I began to get bored of rock, along with all of its sub-genres, and started getting into electronic music. The high school that I was in gave students these free 11-inch Dell laptops; they were garbage, really, but I never owned a laptop before so I was stoked when I received it. I made instrumental covers of my favorite songs on FL Studio 9, and mixed on these horrible P.A. speakers that my uncle got for me. My game stepped up when my mom bought me a Macbook Pro as a gift in mid-2012, and I really started producing from there. I produced on Ableton Live, and then switched to Logic Pro, but then switched back to Ableton Live. It wasn't until recently that I began to take producing seriously and make money out of it.
