Raised in Atlanta, Ga., Dre fell in love with music at the age of 5 when his grandmother, who taught music for the Atlanta Public Schools also, started to teach him to play the piano and read music. Through out his school age years, Dre participated in the band, where he learned to play the trumpet, flute, and saxophone. He became the saxophone section leader his sophomore year at Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta. Upon graduation Dre entered the work force full-time, while pursuing a career as a rapper. Being that Atlanta’s hip-hop scene was so vast with many others pursuing the same thing, Dre decided to step back and start making beats and instrumentals for some of the local talent. Today, he’s embarking on launching “Unknown Productions 404”, his music production company and attending Full Sail University under the studies of Music Production. There, he sets out to build the foundation of solidifying his mark in the music industry.
