Born at the Grace Hospital in Windsor, Ontario, Canada on December 3, 1940. Moved to a farm near Warwick Village, not too far from Sarnia in 1947. We farmed for about three years, then mom and dad and us six kids moved to Sarnia, Ontario. This is still my hometown.
It wasn't too long before I found out I could sing, then when I was sixteen I started chording on the guitar to back me up when I sang. Before long, I was singing for young adult events, mainly house gatherings at that time. In 1957 I sang a lot of Ricky Nelson, Elvis Presley, Everly Brothers and Johnny Cash songs. They wer quite popular then, and even now. I used to pick the guitar like Duane Eddy and Luther Perkins. In 1962, I joined a three-piece band. I went from band to band since then. Made a few recordings. Have really enjoyed singing sand playing for thr people, young or old. From little tots to old folks. It has been a pleasure serving them this way. Thanks to you at SoundClick I have been able to present some of the recordings that were made back in the earlier years.
