Recently released cover tune “Can’t You See” features Randy Bachman from The Guess Who, Bachman Turner Overdrive, and most recently he is touring with Bachman and Turner, on lead guitar.
Randy was given total artistic freedom to record his lead guitar solo and to season the song with lead bits, like adding a pinch of spice to a world class soup.
On lead vocals is Jody Raffoul. Jody is well known for his winning of the Bon Jovi contest to open for Bon Jovi at Giants Stadium in New Jersey in 2006.
His vocals ring with amazing harmonics that pepper and blend with the song very nicely.
On rhythm guitar, steel guitar and keyboards is Chad Everaert. Chad also produced the song.
Aaron Bell played drums and Craig Vasily played bass which held down the percussion section of the song like the dough of a mouth watering New York pizza.
Shannon Golla Dixon sang all the female vocals and harmonies on the first take!, it was art indeed.
“It was an honour to have Randy play on our song and I’m sure he had as good of a time as we did” says Craig who was also executive producer for the project.
The interesting part of the whole project was that Randy was able to lay down his lead guitar parts whilst he was on the road.
