I am a ivory player by heart. The keys got me through many hard life lessons and in doing so created music that allowed me to express myself without going to the bottle, drugs or other bad things.
As far back as I can remember if there was a piano around, I wanted to play it. I tried lessons, but it just wasn't right for me. The teacher would want me to learn Mary had a little lamb and I would create a classical version of it instead of playing the "notes" from the sheet music. So, no lessons.
My true teacher has been through my experiences in life. It wasn't until fruity loops, now called FL Studio ( http://www.image-line.com/flstudio/ ) was released that I really wanted to add depth to my music. So, there you have it.
Over the years I've created over 500 songs, most of which were a simple release of feelings. Unfortunately, most have dies and crossed over into the place where crashed hard drives go, but its never been about releasing a CD or selling music. It has always been and will continue to be a way of expressing myself through music.
If you like anything, take time to comment. I do appreciate feedback. I typically play what I am feeling, then never go back it again....like many others I am sure.
