David Beckett Krauss, aka Sourmouth, aka Mr. Federal was born on, July/14/1988, (age 25) in Dallas Texas. At an early Age David was adopted by a middle class family, due to thee finnancial issues of his birth parents. Due to Privacy Issues David Has Never nor knows anything about his birth parents.
Sourmouth Started rappen around age 18 after High School. Drawn the to Hip-hop culture At a young age Sourmouth always had a passion for music, though his parents didn't even let him listen to rap music at all till he was atleast 11-12. Sourmouth would go to the older cats in his neighborhood for music, and would have ta sneak down stairs at night ta watch mtv, bet, vh1 and all that.
Taking The Name Sourmouth (for obvious reason's), He started Freestylen for fun at parties and what not. He then Produced his own mixtape, 1 Flew Over the Cukoo's Nest", but didn't start goin hard untill age 21. Since Releasing his first studio mixtape "Menace to sobriety" in nov/2011 his fan-base has been increasing daily.
Currently Sourmouth is generating a big buzz due to the release of his 2nd full length studio album The Mr. Federal LP. Gaining over 45,000 youtube views before its release, his online and local fan-base has sky rocketted.
The Mr. Federal LP is a big step up from his first cd Menace 2 Sobriety. Production, and lyrically above par it can contend if not exceed any mainstream artists album. Sourmouth gets alot deeper into who he is as a person as shown in his remix to E
